I figured it’d be better to put down my wishes in black & white. That way, I’d have you to vouch and monitor what I’ve wished for and my progress towards it as well. Pricking the conscience helps a lot in spurring me.
- Certifying myself in Health Insurance on July 14th 2008. Done Deal
- Lead a healthy lifestyle, a jog and a swim at least per week. Put on some weight (by supplements or not) and hit the 65 mark by December 31st 2008. Hit 60
- Achieve certifications in M5, M8 or M9 by September 30th 2008. Target M9 by End 2oo8
- Talk my way into taking over an agent’s General Insurance business portfolio, by September 17th 2008. Done Deal
- To undertake and to improve drastically the functions in my new duties by 17th August 2008 – Commission & Agents (Accounts). Of course, to be noticed while I’m at it. Not that drastically but fair enough.
- To work on a long forgotten dream; iData, and complete it by November 1st 2008. Actual launch to be December 1st 2008. Achieve current projection of 200 units sold by December 31st 2008 and 500 units by January 31st 2009. Change of plans, on hold.
- Set aside at least SGD$10,000 in savings by December 31st 2008.
- Find a cure for my sweaty palms once and for all by the end of this year. A social barrier..
- Plan and strategize for my next project, depending on the current market situation and market trends in December 2008. (Neoscrap / Online shopping /discoversg.com) Change of plans, on hold.
- And this next one will blow even my mind away, be a casual smoker by December 31st 2008. By casual, I’d be mean only smoke for entertainment / leisure purposes and not to purchase my own cigs. Somehow though, I don’t have much faith in myself. Geez… Well, you knew the outcome even before it started.
These should keep me quite busy for now. And with constant diligence, I should be quite well to do with if I’ve followed and fulfilled this path I’ve set for myself.
